Decathlon: a turnover of €13.8bn (+21%) in 2021, including €4.2bn in France (+18%)

Decathlon posted a turnover of €13.8bn in 2021, a year marked by the Covid pandemic (partial closures of shops in the spring in France in particular), up 21% at constant exchange rates compared to 2020 (€11.4bn), announced the French sporting goods design, production and distribution group on 04/04/2022.

In France, Decathlon's turnover including VAT was €4.2bn, up 18% compared to 2020 (€3.55bn) or 27% compared to 2019 (€3.3bn). The group's net profit rose to €913m in 2021, versus €550m in 2020. Decathlon is present in 70 countries, with 1,747 shops and 105,000 employees.

Internationally, the share of e-commerce in the group's revenues increased by 30% to 21% of total revenues in 2021 (nearly €3bn).
