Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (April 2022)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Bundesliga season have more than 149 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/04/2022. The Bundesliga, which has an average of 8.3 million fans per club, is the least followed league among the European Top 5 on these three social networks combined.

FC Bayern Munich remain the most-popular German club with more than 91 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with nearly 35 million. Bayer 04 Leverkusen complete the podium with 5.1 million followers.

Bayern was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of March with an additional 652,976 fans, 82.5% of which were on Instagram alone.

RB Leipzig posted the best percentage growth among the Bundesliga clubs on Facebook (+2.9%), as did SC Freiburg on Instagram (+2.7%) and Bayern on Twitter (+0.7%).
