DAZN: Alice Mascia appointed CEO for Germany, Austria and Switzerland effective from 01/05/2022

Alice Mascia has been appointed CEO of DAZN DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), announced the OTT sports platform on 06/04/2022. She will take up the position on 01/05/2022.

Alice Mascia "20 years' valuable experience in the media and telco industries" and has held various positions within the pay-TV groups Sky Deutschland (2009-2018) and Sky Italia (2002-2007). DAZN wants to "accelerate the group's ambitious growth aspirations" in the DACH region, where the group currently owns the broadcasting rights to the Bundesliga (three games per matchday, over the 2021-2025 cycle), the Champions League (all matches except the Tuesday night fixture), Serie A TIM and LaLiga Santander.

"Mascia joins a growing and revitalised global leadership team, including Bosco Aranguren (general manager) in Spain and, in Italy, Franco Bernabè (strategic advisor) and Stefano Azzi (CEO)," explained DAZN.
