National 1: Patrice Haddad in exclusive negotiations with 777 Partners (USA) to sell Red Star FC

Patrice Haddad has entered "exclusive negotiations with 777 Partners, candidate for the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Red Star FC (National 1)," announced the Auvergne-based club on 06/04/2022. The head of the audiovisual production company Première Heure owns around 83% of Red Star, with the remainder belonging to the French property group Réalités. The deal is estimated to be worth more than €10 excluding bonuses, according to the sports daily L'Equipe.

"Exclusive discussions have been agreed to accelerate the development of the club and the achievement of its sporting goals. Patrice Haddad selected 777 Partners as its project features ambitious sports development goals backed by adequate investments, all the while being respectful of the club's identity," said Red Star FC, who added that "once the consultation and vetting procedures required to effectuate the transaction are completed, Patrice Haddad will continue his commitment as the club president."
