TikTok: number of followers of the 83 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (April 2022)

With 25.4 million followers, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) remain the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, far ahead of Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League, 14.9 million) and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 14.7 million), according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/04/2022.

Chelsea FC (Premier League) posted the best increase in absolute value with an additional 1.6 million followers accumulated during the month of March 2022. Real Madrid FC (LaLiga Santander) and Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) followed closely behind with 1.4 million additional followers each.

The best percentage growth (excluding accounts with less than 100,000 followers) was posted by AS Roma (Serie A TIM, +33.3%), ahead of Chelsea (+27.6%) and RC Lens (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, +21.4%).

83 of the 98 clubs competing in the European Top 5 in 2021-22 (84.7%) have an official account on TikTok:
