UEFA Women's Euro 2022: adidas unveils shirts for five women's national teams

adidas has unveiled the shirts for five national women's teams (Belgium, Germany, Northern Ireland, Spain and Sweden) that will participate in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 to be held in England from 06 to 31/07/2022 (originally scheduled for 2021), according to the German equipment manufacturer on 07/04/2022.

"These shirts illustrate the confidence and independence of a generation that is breaking the codes and traditions of women's football," said adidas. To accompany the presentation of the shirts, the German brand conducted a photo and video shoot at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London (ENG), where scenes from the Spice Girls' famous "Wannabe" video were shot.

The shirts are made from recycled materials collected from the oceans, in collaboration with the NGO Parley Ocean Plastic. adidas aims to "help end pollution and plastic waste in the oceans."
