Czech Republic: Puma extends kit supplier contract with federation

The German sports brand Puma extended its kit supplier contract with the FACR (the Czech Republic football federation), announced the federation on 09/09/2014

The new agreement will cover at least the 2014-2016 period. Puma has been a partner of the Czech federation since 1995. The new contract covers all the national football teams, as well as the Czech Beach Soccer and Futsal teams.

In the 2010-2014 period, the agreement was estimated at €2.3m per year.

Puma: Turnover down 6.5% in first half of 2014

  • German sports supplier Puma announced a 6.5% decrease in its turnover to €1.378bn in the first half of 2014, on 29/07/2014.
    • Puma's turnover in the first half of 2013 was €1.474bn.
  • Puma's net earnings decreased by 41.3% to €39.8m in the first semester of 2014. Operating profits decreased by 35.4% to reach €71.2m for the same period.
    • The gross margin remained stable at 47.7%.
  • The German brand supplied eight of the 32 national teams in the 2014 World Cup (Brazil, from 12/06 to 13/07/2014)
