LaLiga: Real Sociedad - Real Betis to be broadcast in portrait via GOL's (Mediapro) TikTok account

"For the first time in Spain", GOL (Mediapro) will offer the broadcasting, as well as its DTT channel, for the Real Sociedad - Real Betis Balompié match (Matchday 32 of the 2021-22 LaLiga Santander) in vertical (portrait) format and free-to-air via GOL's TikTok account, making it the "first football match in a major European league that can be watched in 9:16 format," announced LaLiga on 08/04/2022.

"This initiative has been made possible thanks to an agreement between Mediapo, LaLiga and TikTok, projecting the commitment to innovation and adaptation of content to new digital consumption formats. The match, which will be played on Friday 15/04/2022 at 21:00 (CET), will be commented by Nacho Hernáez (@nachohernaez) and Carla Gabián (@carlagabian), two leading content creators in football within TikTok," continued LaLiga.
