Joseph Tacopina (USA) resigned his position of vice-president and member of the board of directors of AS Roma (Serie A), the club announced on 08/09/2014. The lawyer, 48, held this position since 27/10/2011.

An American consortium, lead by Joseph Tacopina, should acquire all of the shares of Bologna FC (Serie B) for an estimated amount of €40m, according to the Italian sports newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, on 08/09/2014. "We wish him and Bologna good luck," said AS Roma on its website on 08/09/2014.
