BitMex, a Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange platform owned by HDR Global Trading Limited, has activated its partnership with AC Milan (Serie A TIM) and released the club's first official NFT, announced the Rossoneri on 08/04/2022.

Profits from the sale of the NFTs will be donated to the club's Foundation to support international charity initiatives. This non-profit operation is being conducted in collaboration with the crypto-asset platform FanSea.

This is the first NFT operation launched by the club. The commercialised asset will take the form of the AC Milan shirt found in South Sudan by Danish war journalist Jan Grarup at the end of 2021. This shirt from the 2016-17 season is now on display at the Mondo Milan museum at Casa Milan (ITA). Pre-sales of the NFT (€45 each) will begin on 14/04/2022. 75,817 copies will be available for sale, corresponding to the number of seats at the San Siro in Milan.
