Germany: bwin extends its partnership with the DFB (cups, women's national team) until 2026

bwin, a Gibraltar-based sports betting operator owned by the British group Entain plc (formerly GVC Holdings), has renewed and extended its partnership with the  Deutscher Fussball Bund "until the end of 2026," announced the German Football Association on 06/04/2022.

"The new agreement includes advertising rights from 01/07/2022 for the men's DFB-Pokal and the women's DFB-Pokal final, the 3.Liga, the Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga and the women's national team from 01/01/2023," explained the DFB, which has been in partnership with bwin since 2017. This partnership extension does not include the rights to the men's national team. The contract between bwin and the German national team runs until 31/12/2022.

bwin continues to benefit from the status of official partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the German Football Association, alongside Coca-Cola (beverages), Commerzbank (bank), Lufthansa (airline) and Deutsch Telekom (telecommunications).
