FIFA: Xero (accounting for SMEs), second women's football partner after Visa

Xero, a New Zealand-based company specialised in accounting and management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), has become a "FIFA Partner" for women's football from 2022 and for several seasons, announced the world football body on 12/04/2022. The agreement covers the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the 2024 and 2026 editions of the Women's U20 and U17 World Cup.

"Xero will use the partnership to champion women's football and to further empower women working in small businesses and their communities around the world. As part of the agreement, Xero will also support two FIFA women's football development programmes: Capacity-Building for Administrators, and Coach Education Scholarships," explained FIFA.

"Xero's partnership category will include small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business management software, accounting and bookkeeping (AB) practice management software, and SME and AB software app stores," added FIFA.
