The American brand Nike will replace Umbro as the official supplier of the NFF (Norwegian Football Association) for the 2015-2021 period, the two parties announced on 10/09/2014.

The British-born brand Umbro has equipped the Norwegian national teams since 1996. The contract with Nike will begin in January 2015, when the company will unveil the new official shirts of the NFF.

Umbro had gradually sold most of its rights after being bought by Nike in 2007. Nike sold Umbro to the US-based Iconix Brand Group in October 2012 for nearly €170m.

  • Yngve Hallén was reelected president of the NFF to 2016 on 03/09/2014.
  • Nike has also become the official supplier of the FAF (Finnish Football Federation) until 2020 on 03/04/2014.
