Europa League: head-to-head FC Barcelona - Eintracht Frankfurt (quarter-final 2^nd leg, 14/04/2022)

With a turnover of €582.1m in 2020-21, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) are ranked fourth place in the 2022 edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, a ranking from which Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) are absent (they occupied 20^th place in the 2021 edition) with a turnover of €134.4m (excluding transfers), as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the second leg of their 2021-22 Europa League quarter-final at the Camp Nou (Barcelona, ESP) on Thursday 14/04/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET, 1-1 in the first leg).

The Barcelona club nevertheless closed the 2020-21 financial year with a net loss of €481m, a deficit 13.3 times greater than that of their German rivals over the same period (-€36.1m).

With a brand value of €1.266bn, Barça are second in the "Football 50 2021" ranking by the American company Brand Finance, which specialises in the economic valuation of brands, while Eintracht are ranked 25^th.
