LaLiga Santander: Villarreal CF opens an academy in Brandon (Manitoba), the club's third in Canada

Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander) has opened an academy in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, announced the club on 15/04/2022. This is the club's 17^th football school outside Spain (see below) and its third in Canada, following the recent launch of an academy in Edmonton, in the province of Alberta, on 29/03/2022.

"Aimed at youngsters between the ages of three and 18, it offers a unique opportunity for promising talents in the area, who will receive football training under the Yellows Academy methodology. Currently, the academy has six teams and more than 100 players," explained Villarreal CF.

"This academy will not only offer young players from the city of Brandon and the entire province of Manitoba the opportunity to train under the methodology of the reigning Europa League champions, but they will also be able to travel to Spain to train at Villarreal CF's facilities and even play friendly matches against Yellows Academy teams," added the Spanish club.
