LaLiga Santander: Real Betis launches an academy in Tbilisi (Georgia), the club's 7^th outside Spain

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander), through its Foundation, has launched its seventh academy outside Spain in Georgia, announced the club on 18/04/2022. Based in Tbilisi, within the campus of the Buckswood International School, the football school will welcome 200 players aged between 5 and 18 years old.

"This new sports project will contribute to the development of grassroots football in Georgia, introducing young Georgian athletes to Spanish football and the socio-sporting values that Real Betis Balompié transmits. The academy will benefit from the technical support of the club's Foundation for the training of coaches. In addition to the academy itself, trips to Seville (Andalusia, ESP) will also be organised so that the participating players can enjoy Betis' VIP experiences through the 'Behind The Scenes' programme," explained the Spanish club.

Real Betis already has six international academies in Mexico (Mexico City), Iraq (Baghdad), Zimbabwe (Harare), Algeria (Dely Ibrahim), the United States (Arizona) and the UK (London). The Sevillian club has also launched the "Betis…
