2022-23 Premier League: Fulham FC back in the top flight 1 year after relegation to the Championship

Fulham FC, 2021-22 Sky Bet Championship leaders and 13 points ahead of third place with four games to go, are guaranteed to finish the year in one of the top two places in the table which means direct promotion to the Premier League without going through the play-offs, following their 3-0 win over Preston North End FC on 19/04/2022.

Relegated to the second tier at the end of the 2020-21 season, Fulham are now back in the top flight after just one season in the Championship. The London club is the first club to be promoted to the one of the European Top 5 for the 2022-23 season.
