Coupe de France: unsuccessful call for tenders for domestic broadcasting rights (2022-2026)

"The call for tenders (for the domestic broadcasting rights to the men's and women's Coupe de France over the 2022-2026 cycle) has been declared unsuccessful. The Comex authorised me to discuss the matter by mutual agreement. We had set the bar quite high. Now we're going to discuss it over the next month," said Noël Le Graët, president of the FFF, to the French sports daily L'Équipe on 21/04/2022.

The call for tenders was launched on 22/03/2022 and the bids were submitted on 20/04/2022.
The FFF received bids from "the France Télévisions-Eurosport duo, which has no real rival," according to L'Équipe.

For the current cycle (2018-2022), the public broadcasting group France Télévisions and the pay-TV group Eurosport share the broadcasting rights, in France, to the Coupe de France for an amount of €22m per season (rights to the women's Coupe de France included in the previous call for tenders).
