2021-22 Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich win their 10^th consecutive German league title

FC Bayern Munich have been crowned German champions after beating Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) on Matchday 31 of the 2021-22 Bundesliga season on Saturday 23/04/2022. The Bavarian club has 75 points with three games left to play, 12 more than Dortmund (2^nd with 63 points), who can no longer catch up.

Bayern have now won their 10^th consecutive league title, a feat never achieved before in the European Top 5. The last time another club won the German championship was Borussia Dortmund in 2011-12, who also won in 2010-11.

With 32 German league titles to their name, FC Bayern Munich have maintained their position as the most successful German club. 1. Fußball Club Nürnberg (9 titles) and BVB (8 titles) complete the podium.
