Stadiums: record attendances since the end of capacity limits related to Covid-19

Since the beginning of April 2022, the Bundesliga and Serie A TIM clubs can finally welcome spectators in their stadiums without any capacity limits. They join the LaLiga Santander clubs, which have been free of any restrictions since 04/03/2022. For Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs, the caps imposed by the public authorities were limited to a few matches in the south of France at the start of the season and then to three matches with a maximum capacity of 5,000 spectators at the start of the second half of the season, a situation that is less favourable than that experienced by their Premier League counterparts, who have been authorised to accommodate all of their fans without interruption since the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

This new situation, synonymous with the end of the Covid-19 crisis, has logically led to a series of attendance records in the various leagues previously subject to part-capacity rules.
