At €290m, Juventus have the largest estimated budget for the 2014-15 Serie A championship, which began on 30/08/2014.

The three-time defending champion of Italy is followed by AC Milan (2nd with €210m), Inter Milan (3rd with €195m), AS Roma (4th with €180m) and SSC Napoli (5th with €130m).

The combined budget of the 20 clubs in Serie A is an estimated amount of €1.785 billion. The average estimated budget of an Serie A club is €89.25m in 2014-15. The median estimated budget in 2014-15 (as many clubs above that figures as clubs below that figure) is €55m.

  • The average estimated budget of Ligue 1 is €72m for 2014-15 (or 19.3% lower compared to the Serie A).

Juventus expects a loss greater than €16m for fiscal year 2014

  • The Juventus board indicated that it expects "a loss of greater than €16m" for the 2014 fiscal year (01/07/2013 - 30/06/2014).
  • Juventus are paying in particular for their elimination from the group stage of the 2013-14 Champions League.
