Europa Conference League: head-to-head Leicester City FC - AS Roma (semi-final first leg 28/04/2022)

With a turnover of €255.5m in 2020-21, Leicester City FC (Premier League) are ranked 15^th in the 2022 edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, compared to 23^rd for AS Roma (Serie A TIM) with €190.4m in revenue, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their 2021-22 Europa Conference League semi-final at the King Power Stadium (Leicester, ENG) on Thursday 28/04/2022 (kick-off 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET).

The Italian club is ahead of its opponents in the Top 20 "World's Most Valuable Soccer Teams" (excluding real estate) as established by the American business magazine Forbes in April 2021, in 17^th place ($548m), two places ahead of Leicester (19^th, $455m). The latter was nevertheless ranked 17^th in the "Football 50 2021" ranking published in May 2021 by the American company Brand Finance, a consultancy firm specialised in brand strategy and valuation, well ahead of Roma (39^th).

With nearly 20.2 million fans on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, as of 28/04/2022), the Roman club has 11% more than Leicester, who count 18.2 million.
