Italy: "Premier League will attract all the talent, the Super League already exists" (A. Agnelli)

"Let's look at the next cycles: we have a Premier League that earns €4.2bn a year, UEFA that expects €5bn annually from the next Champions League. This suggests how much space is left for Italy, France, Germany and Spain. The Premier League will gradually attract all the talent. So a Super League already exists. We should reflect on this," said Andrea Agnelli, president of Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), during the "Il Foglio a San Siro" symposium organised by the daily newspaper "Il Foglio" in Milan (ITA) on 28/04/2022.

"European football is in desperate need of reform. The Super League is a collective work of 12 teams, not one person. 12 clubs signed a 120-page contract and it is still binding for 11 of those clubs," said Andrea Agnelli, during the Financial Times' "Business of Football Summit" held in London (ENG) on 03/03/2022.
