2021-22 LaLiga Santander: 35^th Spanish league title for Real Madrid CF

Real Madrid CF have been crowned as the 2021-22 champions of Spain after their 4-0 victory over RCD Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabéu (80,000 capacity) on Saturday 30/04/2022. The Madrid club has 81 points with four games to go, 15 more than FC Barcelona (2^nd with 66 points), who can no longer catch up.

This is Real Madrid CF's 35^th Spanish league title, consolidating their position as the most successful Spanish club. FC Barcelona (26 titles) and Club Atlético de Madrid (11) complete the podium. Real succeed Atlético Madrid, Spanish champions in 2020-21. Over the last 10 seasons, Real Madrid have won three titles, Barca five and Atlético de Madrid two.
