Qatar 2022: 23.5 million tickets requested from 05 to 28/04/2022, responses from 31/05/2022

23.5 million orders for tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar were placed during the "random selection draw sales period" held from 05 to 28/04/2022, announced FIFA on 29/04/2022. This phase began after the draw for the finals was held in Doha (QAT) on 01/04/2022 (see composition of the eight groups below).

"Ticket applicants will be notified of the outcome of their ticket applications by email from 31/05/2022, coinciding with the start of the scheduled payment period," said the International Federation.

"In the latest sales period, Qatari residents continued to demonstrate their support for the World Cup, joined among the top applicants by fans living in Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the USA," added FIFA.

Besides the final on Sunday 18/12/2022, the four most sought-after fixtures are four group stage matches, including Argentina's three matches in Group C:
