Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (May 2022)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season total more than 236 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/05/2022. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind the Premier League (643 million fans) and LaLiga Santander (585 million), with an average of 11.8 million fans per club.

With more than 107 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC are the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (45.6 million) and 2020-21 Italian champions, FC Inter Milan (40.1 million).

Inter Milan was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of April 2022 with a total of 493,332 additional followers, 69% of which were on Facebook alone.

US Salernitana 1919, promoted to the Italian top flight for the 2021-22 season, posted the best percentage growth among the Serie A TIM clubs on each of the three social networks: +3.9% on Instagram, +2.6% on Twitter and +1.4% on Facebook.
