Europa League 2014-15: €208.75 million will be divided among the participating clubs

A net amount of €208.75m will be allocated between the clubs involved in the Europa League 2014-15 group stage, announced UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) on 15/09/2014.

60% of this amount (€125.25m) will be distributed in fixed shares. The remaining 40% (€83.5m) "will be distributed according to the proportional value of each television market represented by the teams taking part in the UEFA Europa League from the group stage onwards."

€168.75m distributed to the clubs is from the gross income for the Europa League 2014-15, estimated at €225m. The remaining €40m is "a further contribution to the UEFA Europa League club share, with funding provided by the UEFA Champions League club and UEFA shares," said the European body.

€209m was distributed among 56 clubs that participated in the 2013-14 edition of the Europa League (48 in the group stage plus 8 more in the Round of 32 after finishing third in their Champions League group, reported UEFA on 06/25/2014.
