TikTok: number of followers of the 83 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (May 2022)

With 26.3 million followers, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) remain the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, far ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) who each have 15.6 million fans, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 03/05/2022.

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) posted the best increase in absolute value with an additional 2.2 million followers accumulated during the month of April 2022. Five clubs follow with 900,000 additional followers each: Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM), Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC (Premier League).

The best percentage growth (excluding accounts with less than 100,000 followers) was posted by Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander, +65.4%), ahead of AS Roma (Serie A TIM, +40%) and Inter Milan (+28.1%).

83 of the 98 clubs competing in the European Top 5 in 2021-22 (84.7%) have an official account on TikTok:
