Qatar 2022: FIFA launches an online platform for the public screening of matches

FIFA has created an online platform dedicated to organisers of public screenings of 2022 World Cup matches, announced the body on 04/05/2022.

"The online tool enables applicants to submit information about the event to be staged and assess whether their event requires a license or not. More specific details on these classifications are explained in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Public Viewing Regulations, posted on the platform. All fees collected by FIFA from Commercial Public Viewing Event Licenses will be donated to a charity of its choice," explained the body.

"Public viewing has become a firm fixture of the fan culture of the FIFA events, providing fans with a unique and exciting opportunity to experience all the action and atmosphere of one of the world's greatest sports spectacles outside the stadiums," added FIFA on its online platform created for the purpose.
