Facebook: FC Barcelona remain the most followed club with 74.78 million fans (+4%)

FC Barcelona (Liga BBVA) are the world's most followed football club on Facebook with 74,780,000 fans as of 15/09/2014. The club has recorded 3.35 million additional "like" mentions, up 4% from the beginning of August 2014.

Only Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) have also surpassed 70 million fans on Facebook, with over 73 million "like" mentions. With an additional 4 million fans in August 2014, Real Madrid have the highest increase in the European Top 20.

Six Premier League clubs are in the European Top 20. Four clubs, Manchester United (+3,425,853), Arsenal (+1,763,848), Chelsea (+1,143,216) and Liverpool (+1,105,275) earned more than a million fans in the last month.

With 876,537 additional fans in August, and a total of more than 13.1 million fans, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) is the top French football club on Facebook and the 11^th European club.
