TV rights: TF1 and M6 to broadcast France's 2022-23 Nations League matches & 25 Euro 2024 matches

The French free-TV groups TF1 and M6 have acquired the rights to broadcast the six matches of the French men's football team for the group stage of the 2022-23 Nations League (played in June and September 2022), as well as the two matches of Les Bleus in the event of qualification for the final phase of the competition (semi-final and final or match for third place), "exclusively and free-to-air" in France, on 05/05/2022.

The rights to France's six matches in the Nations League group stage have been acquired for €2.9m each, according to L'Équipe (compared to an average of €3.5m for the same broadcasters over the 2018-2022 cycle).

The two groups, which plan to merge at the beginning of 2023 (see below), have also acquired the exclusive free-to-air broadcasting rights to 25 Euro 2024 fixtures. According to L'Équipe, these rights were acquired for €55m, whereas the two channels had paid €50m to share the free-to-air rights to Euro 2020 (23 of 51 matches).
