LaLiga Santander: Villarreal CF opens an academy in Chicago, the club's 9^th in the United States

Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander) "is continuing to expand in North America" and has launched an academy in Chicago, its ninth in the United States and its 20^th outside Spain (see below), announced the club on 05/05/2022.

Aimed at players aged between 4 and 23, "the academy will help players and coaches to reach their full potential. Youngsters from the academy who stand out in training showing their high level of technical skills and exemplary behaviour will be invited to train at Villarreal CF's facilities in Spain," said the Spanish club, which recently launched two academies in Canada (see below).

"This partnership will offer unparalleled opportunities for the development and exposure of youth players in the area. The goal of our academy is to develop players on and off the soccer field to their fullest potential. This will be accomplished by having our coaches receive a world-class education from the Villarreal CF team.
