2021-22 Women's Champions League: TMC to broadcast the final (Barça - Lyon, 21/05/2022) in France

The TF1 group has acquired the broadcasting rights for the 2021-2022 Women's Champions League final, FC Barcelona (ESP) - Olympique Lyonnais (FRA), under sub-license from the OTT platform DAZN, for its free-to-air DTT channel TMC, announced the French free-TV group on 06/05/2022.

The final will be played at the Allianz Stadium (41,500 capacity) in Turin (ITA) on Saturday 21/05/2022 (kick-off at 19:00 CET). Olympique Lyonnais have won the competition seven times, while defending champions FC Barcelona will attempt to win the trophy for the second time in their history.

The match will also be broadcast by the streaming platform DAZN as well as on its dedicated YouTube channel.

The two teams previously met in the final during the 2018-19 season (4-1 victory for Olympique Lyonnais). The match drew 780,000 viewers in France, with a peak audience of 1.016 million, on TMC on Saturday 18/05/2019. This figure represented an audience share of 6.3% for the channel belonging to the TF1 group.
