GSW 2022: "Expectations to play a stronger role in the sustainability agenda" (C. Frémont, UEFA)

"There are expectations for UEFA to play a stronger role in the sustainability agenda. We have a massive reach and we have the power to influence people on having better efforts. In December 2021, we launched the 'Strength through Unity' strategy for European football (see below)," said Charles Frémont, manager of the UEFA Innovation Hub, during Global Sports Week 2022, at the Accor Arena in Paris (FRA) on 09/05/2022.

"The UEFA Innovation Hub was created in 2018 with the mission to provide our internal divisions, as well as European football stakeholders, with the tools, methods and resources they need to innovate, in line with their strategic objectives," added the former executive director of the French sports innovation platform Le Tremplin - Paris&CO.
