Red Star FC: American firm 777 Partners (Genoa, Standard Liège, etc.) acquires 100% of the club

"In a major turning point in the long and prestigious 125-year history of Red Star FC (National 1), the club is now 100% owned by 777 Partners following a long consultation and approval process," announced the French club on 11/05/2022. The parties had entered into exclusive negotiations on 06/04/2022.

"Patrice Haddad (president and majority shareholder since 2008, with a stake of approximately 83%), Groupe Réalités and Guillaume Rambourg (minority shareholders) have sold the entirety of their shares to 777 Partners. The choice of 777 Partners is the result of a long process during which Patrice Haddad identified and selected the buyer with the most assets and ambitions with a long-term vision from among the buyers who had declared themselves," said Red Star. The deal is estimated at between €15-€20m, according to several French media.
