Borussia Mönchengladbach: flatexDEGIRO (broker) extends as partner until 2026-27

flatexDEGIRO AG, a broker founded by the merger of Flatex (GER) and DeGiro (NED) in 2020, has extended as a major partner (1^st level) and main shirt sponsor of Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) until the end of 2023-24 "at least," announced the German club as it unveiled its 2022-23 home shirt (Puma) on 14/05/2022.

flatexDEGIRO should continue to pay Borussia Mönchengladbach €10m per year. Since 2020-21, the group has been displaying Flatex, its trading platform dedicated to the German market, on the club's shirts. Borussia Mönchengladbach has also secured a sleeve sponsorship agreement with Sonepar (distribution of electrical products, FRA) until 2024-25 (€2.5m per season) on 11/02/2022.

flatexDEGIRO plans to reduce its commitment for the 2024-2027 cycle by becoming a "co-sponsor" (2^nd level) of the German club. The company, which has no other sponsorship agreement, has spent €46.1m on marketing in 2021, almost 90% more than in 2020 (€24.3m).
