Canada: DAZN to broadcast several European national teams matches (2022-2028 cycle)

The OTT sports platform DAZN has acquired, via the agency CAA Eleven, the exclusive English language broadcasting rights, for Canada, to certain matches of several European national teams from 01/06/2022 until 2028, announced the platform on 05/13/2022.

DAZN will broadcast the Nations League in 2022-23, 2024-25, and 2026-27 as well as the European finals and qualifiers for Euro 2024 and Euro 2028, the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, international friendlies and the "Finalissima" (match between the winner of Euro and the winner of the Copa America) in 2022 and 2024.

"The deal includes English language rights of select matchups from top European national teams including England, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and France totaling a minimum of 57 matches for each national team between 2022 and 2028," said the OTT platform.
