Germany: DFL announces tender process for Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga TV rights in 18 countries

DFL Sports Enterprises, the commercial arm of the DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga, German Professional Football League), has launched the tender process for all audiovisual media rights in 18 countries for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga (German second division) seasons, the agency announced on 17/09/2014.

TV rights will be awarded in the following 18 countries throughout Europe and Asia: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malta, Moldova, Russia, Spain (including Andorra), Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Beginning on 18/09/2014, all interested parties that have registered with the DFL will receive the tender documents. The deadline for all bids is 01/10/2014 at 12:00 CET (Central European Time).
