Spain: TVM (tech, KOR), official partner of LaLiga for its development in the metaverse

TVM, a South Korean company developing a platform on a metaverse, has become a global partner (2^nd level) of LaLiga for two and a half years (until 2025) to help the body develop its activities in the metaverse, announced the Spanish League on 18/05/2022. The agreement includes an extension option.

"TVM will develop Triverse, the metaverse of sport, a virtual world of augmented reality, focused on the fan experience. The agreement will also allow LaLiga to integrate its virtual partners within Triverse. In addition, by joining Triverse, sports properties will be able to open a new channel to communicate and engage with fans and users," said LaLiga.

"Official content from sports clubs, such as press conferences, club announcements, match highlights and player interviews, will be offered within the metaverse," said the Spanish body. By consuming content on this metaverse, fans will be able to earn rewards and experience points in the form of NFT "leading to more valuable items and goods, which they can use to gain wealth in real life."
