Brazil: MRV Engenharia (building sector) extends contract with Atletico Mineiro until 2017

MRV Engenharia, a Brazilian company in the construction sector, extended its partnership with Atletico Mineiro (Brazilian Serie A) until the end of the 2017 season, the company announced on 15/09/2014.

MRV has been a sponsor of the club since 2005. The company logo will remain present on the sleeves of the Atletico Mineiro shirt until 2017. The company, which is based, as is the club, is Belo Horizonte, will be present on the advertising boards during matches at Arena Independencia (23,000 seats) and will have image rights of Atletico Mineiro (winner of the 2013 Copa Libertadores) and its players.

The Brazilian bank BMG is the main shirt sponsor for Atletico Mineiro, with a contract estimated at €4m for the 2014 season. BMG is also the principal shirt sponsor of Cruzeiro, a rival club based in Belo Horizonte.
