2021-22 Women's Champions League: an eighth victory in 12 seasons for Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais (D1 Arkema) won the 2021-22 UEFA Women's Champions League by beating FC Barcelona (Primera Iberdrola) 3-1 in the final on Saturday 21/05/2022 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin (ITA).

This victory comes one year after the club was knocked out of the competition by Paris Saint-Germain (D1 Arkema) in the quarter-finals, an elimination that followed five consecutive European titles.

OL Féminin now have a total of eight European titles to their name: 2010-11, 2011-12, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2021-22. Second-placed 1.FFC Frankfurt (Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga), who were absorbed by Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) in June 2020, have won the competition four times.
