IOC: 2021 Annual Report approved during the 139^th Session held remotely from Lausanne (SUI)

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has published its 2021 Annual Report following approval by the members during the final day of the 139^th Session, held remotely from the Olympic House in Lausanne (SUI) on 20/05/2022. The document which "has as its subtitle Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together, the new Olympic motto which was updated in 2021" outlines "the activities carried out during the past year" and "includes the audited financial statements for 2021."

"The organisation has seen a growth in its revenues in the 2017-2020-21 Olympiad to $7.6bn (€7.2bn) from $5.7bn (€5.4bn) in the previous Olympiad (+33%). The IOC has supported the Olympic Movement with the equivalent of $4.2m per day for 365 days a year in the entire 2017-2020-21 Olympiad, compared to $3.4m per day in the previous Olympiad."
