Integrity of the game: UEFA approves the code of conduct established with ECA, EPFL, FIFPro Europe

The executive committee of UEFA (Union of European Football Association) approved the "Protect Our Game!" code of conduct, Which "sets out the guiding principles for all players, referees, clubs and other officials on issues surrounding the integrity of football. It aims to promote the highest standards of conduct in the organisation, playing and officiating of the game," the association announced on 18/09/2014 in Nyon (SUI ).

This code of conduct is the result of discussions within a working group comprised of UEFA, ECA (European Club Association), EPFL (Association of European Professional Football Leagues) and the FIFPro Europe Divison (International Federation of Professional Footballers). This working group has been set up at the end of the UEFA Congress in March 2013 in Astana (Kazakhstan), with the unanimous adoption of the resolution "European Football United for the Integrity of the Game."
