Spain: Korean tyre manufacturer Kumho Tyres partners with Liga BBVA for 2014-15

The Korean tyre manufacturer Kumho Tyres became a partner of the Liga BBVA for the 2014-15 season, the Spanish LFP (Professional Football League) announced on 13/09/2014.

The logo of Kumho Tyres will be displayed on the advertising boards and behind the goal-posts during each fixture of the 2014-15 Spanish League. The Korean company also wants to showcase its products to the Spanish fans during the matches.

Kumho Tyres is also a partner of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA, North American professional basketball league) and of the Auto GP World Series (international auto racing).

BBVA: Title sponsor, contract estimated at €23.5m per season

• BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria): this bank holds the naming rights of the Liga (Spanish first Spanish division) through 2017-18.
