Matchday 38, the final matchday of the 2021-22 LaLiga Santander season, drew an average of 25,568 spectators per game, from Friday 20 to Sunday 22/05/2022. The average fill rate was 59.6%.

FC Barcelona - Villarreal CF (0-2), on 22/05/2022 (kick-off at 22:00 CET), was the match that posted the best attendance of the matchday with 54,850 spectators at the Camp Nou (99,354 capacity), for a fill rate of 55.2%.

The 20 LaLiga Santander clubs drew an average of 22,979 spectators per match in 2021-22, for an average fill rate of 59%. A total of just over 8.7 million people have visited the stadiums of the Spanish top flight this season. These figures are lower than those usually recorded and are linked to the capacity restrictions imposed by the Spanish public authorities as part of the fight against Covid-19 until the beginning of March 2022.
