UEFA: "Peace" written in Cyrillic on adidas' ball for the 2021-22 Champions League final

adidas and UEFA have presented the official ball for the 2021-22 Champions League final between Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) and Liverpool FC (Premier League) at the Stade de France (80,000 capacity) in Saint-Denis (Paris, FRA) on 24/05/2022.

The football bears the words "мир | PEACE" in Cyrillic and English. "The ball is designed to carry a simple message of peace, belonging, and hope that will be passed from player to player with every kick of the ball and beyond the Stade de France to the furthest corners of the world. The broader design of the ball is noticeably devoid of colour, featuring pure white panels to symbolise truce and unity," explained the German brand.

"The ball will not be available for retail, and instead will be auctioned after the game, with the proceeds going to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to support people forced to flee their homes," added adidas.
