Brand Finance: Real Madrid, Manchester City and Barça, the most valuable club brands in 2022

With a brand valuation of €1.525bn (+19.5% compared to 2021), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) are first place in the annual "Football 50 2022" ranking established by the American company Brand Finance, a consultancy firm specialised in brand strategy and valuation, published on 24/05/2022. The Madrid club dominates the ranking of the 50 football clubs with the most valuable brands for the fourth consecutive edition.

Real are ahead of Manchester City FC (Premier League) in second place, whose brand valuation has risen in 12 months from €1.118bn to €1.327bn (+18.7%, +2 places). FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) have dropped one place since the 2021 edition and complete the podium (€1.325bn; +4.6%).

No club has entered or left the Top 10 since 2021: the Premier League (6 clubs) and LaLiga Santander (2 clubs) remain the only two leagues with more than one representative, while FC Bayern Munich (5^th; €1.109bn; +3.8%) and Paris Saint-Germain (7^th; €1.027bn; +15.7%) are the only representatives from their respective leagues (Bundesliga and Ligue 1 Uber Eats).
