Spain: RTVE acquires TV rights to Euro 2024 and matches of the Spanish national team (2022-2026)

RTVE has acquired the broadcasting rights in Spain for Euro 2024 from UEFA via the agency CAA Eleven, announced the public group on 27/05/2022. The group has also extended its broadcasting rights to the Spanish men's team for the 2022-2026 cycle. RTVE will broadcast a total of 40 matches of La Roja, including Euro 2024 qualifiers, the 2026 World Cup and friendlies.

The agreement also includes the broadcasting rights to the 2025 Women's Euro, the two Euro U21 tournaments in 2023 and 2025, the two Nations League finals in 2022-23 and 2024-25 (even if Spain does not qualify), and the two Finalissimas (competition between the winner of the Euro and the winner of the Copa América) in 2022 and 2025.

The free-TV group Mediaset España previously held the exclusive and full broadcasting rights to Euro 2020 in Spain. RTVE held the broadcasting rights for Spain's Nations League matches and for the qualifiers during the 2018-2022 cycle.
