UEFA has launched "an independent report into the events" that took place on the sidelines of the Champions League final on Saturday 28/05/2022, in the vicinity of the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (Paris, FRA), announced the European body, organiser of the competition, on 30/05/2022.

"The comprehensive review will examine decision making, responsibility and behaviours of all entities involved in the final," said UEFA, adding that the report would be "independently compiled" and led by Dr. Tiago Brandão Rodrigues (POR).

Problems with filtering, incidents that could be linked in part to counterfeit tickets, crossing of gates by people without tickets, ticket holders kept outside the stadium, pushing and shoving, tear gas, thefts: numerous incidents at the Stade au France (Paris, FRA) delayed the kick-off of the 2022 Champions League final, Liverpool FC (Premier League) - Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) (0-1), scheduled for 28/05/2022 at 21:00 CET, by 35 minutes.
