Olympique de Marseille: 200 chairs made from recycled Vélodrome seats sold to benefit the OV School

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and its premium partner Orange (second level) are putting 200 seats from the Stade Orange Vélodrome (Marseille, FRA) that have been recycled into chairs up for sale, announced the club on 30/05/2021. All profits will be invested in the OV School programme, developed by OM, Orange and Synergie (HR), "which enables children in Marseille to experience a learning holiday."

Each piece is sold for €300 by the concept store Maison Transversale, also a partner of the club. A similar operation was previously set up by the Marseille club and Orange in August 2021 (100 seats sold).

"Olympique de Marseille and Orange share common values and objectives around this unique project: to offer emotion to fans in line with their environmental and societal commitments," said the club.
